Ben Rhydding GC. 9Hole course. Twice round some tees different on 2nd loop. We booked on to this course using golf now, adding it onto a golf trip . My golf mate suggested it as he had seen it in a quirky golf courses article somewhere. When we arrived, we found out that there had been an error on the booking system, and we were booked right in the middle of a shot gun start competition. The members were very friendly and understanding, and we slipped in teeing off a little early. It did not affect our golf, and we appreciated the friendly members playing around us. The course is definitely quirky and hilly. Lots of blind tee shots, so your first loop is an adventure and learning curve. The course is a little tricky to navigate as well. we took a wrong turn at one point but quickly got back on track. The greens are good, and general playing conditions are good. I think the course is generally maintained by volunteers ( not sure ). But for the price, it's well worth it. I would definitely come and play again if an opportunity arises.

Absolutely fantastic place to play golf. Some/most of the members are nice and very friendly. Lookout for special membership offers.

Great family club on a challenging golf course with scenic views of Wharf valley, Ilkley and Cow and Calf

Love the course. Quirky and challenging. The philosophy of the club, run largely by volunteers, is fantastic. This is the future of small clubs.

Don’t usually bother with 9 hole courses but this course shows what can be missed. Challenging terrain with splendid views. We’ll designed and greens very good for end of season. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely course but needs better markings for line of sight on the holes with no vision. Could also do with hole maps on each tee. Other that that really enjoyed playing here

For an imaginative 9 holes on the side of a moor with stunning views to the Dales it's hard to beat for the visitors fee of just £10. Short course with some very "blind" tee shots :) But it's a golfer's course amidst all of that. There's also a wee pond with a beautiful stone bridge that is very Insta-worthy to boot, just keep an ear out for a "Fore!"

Some tricky hilly holes for beginners. Great scenic views. Andy the greens keeper was extremely helpful.

What a great course! 2 visitors in Sept 2018, never played here before, definitely worth a go. Very "uppy downy" which is what we wanted, coming from Bedfordshire. Members that we met were very friendly, great views and we played both front and back 9 (its a 9 hole course) which works fine. Loved it
