Went for husband's birthday. We were the only people in the restaurant, however this was likely due to it being the day after Mother's Day and a Monday evening. Food was delicious. Mixed sharing platter was excellent, great choice if you can't decide what to order! Both had steaks for main which were cooked well, and the chunky chips were amazing! Also tried some bone marrow gravy which was really rich and tasty. Puddings were brownie and creme brulee which were lovely. Long island iced tea cocktails were also good. Service was excellent, very attentive waiter, however we were the only customers so cannot comment what it is like when busy. Will definitely be returning! Parking: Limited street parking available, which is pay and display everyday 8am-6pm

Truly enjoyable family meal out. Our food was unquestionably of a very high standard & quality, & cooked superbly. Service was seamless, well organised, and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

A delicious meal that we just couldn't finish! Very tasty burgers and the best onion rings I've ever had. Lots of choice for steaks and drinks too, we would definitely come back for more if we visit again x

This was our first visit to the likely cow, after travelling from the other side of Leeds. And boy it was worth the trip. The food was fantastic, the service amazing and had a great friendly atmosphere. We will certainly be returning soon.

4 adults having pre-booked late lunch on New Year's Eve. Our first visit. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, but that was actually quite nice. Loved the background Country music - not too loud. Staff were really pleasant and efficient. But the food. Absolutely spot on. Starters of steak tartare and the pulled pork scotch egg were all perfect. My scotch egg was sheer bliss! Mains of Duck, Mixed Grill and Sirloin steak were absolutely delicious - my steak was sublime. Side of onion rings was plentiful and delicious. Honestly, I came upon this place on the Internet looking for somewhere to meet our friends for lunch . We're all glad I did! Happy New Year

Great staff particularly Milly . Fabulous food and atmosphere. We even loved the music American country which is our favourite. Well done Ilkley Cow.

The service was terrible - waitresses stood around discussing who was “hot” on their phones instead of serving (one was off shift and sat at the bar talking to the other two who were on shift). Had to keep asking for plates to be cleared and for the dessert menu. It was a 20 minute wait for mains to be cleared away. The waitress off shift started making wrenching noises when the other staff were making drinks. It was inappropriate. The steak was tough when cooked medium rare and was fatty. The chicken burger was overcooked. The chips and steak sauce were good but overall the food was poor and amateurish. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant at all and we had to put up with hearing the three waitresses talk about their social lives. When I asked for the bill the wait staff (a young man this time) shouted “what!” at me. I had high hopes for the restaurant but it was let down by its poor service and inattentive staff.

This place has been on my visit list for a while and we were not disappointed! Came as a family for a celebration meal at 5pm on a Friday and the place was lovely and quiet, we had one whole side of the restaurant to ourselves more or less the whole time ! We had the sharing platter for starters, everything on it was absolutely delicious, in particular the scotch eggs!! Me and my partner shared the special tomahawk steak for 2 which was to die for with the chimichurri sauce on!!! All the sides were gorgeous too and my little boy loved his kids steak! Highly recommend and would definitely love to return to try more of the menu!! Would like to say our waiter was absolutely lovely too !!!! Thanks 😊 Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. We visited for our 1 year anniversary. Astounding service and excellent food. Staff were very attentive and made our meal pleasant. The steak was incredible, cooked to perfection.

Very tasty food. Would recommend the mini steak sampler especially when you have the deal for 2 people on steak night. The ribeye was fantastic. Everything tasty and well cooked. Service was great and all the staff were friendly.
